URNA is back from the 2025 London Design Biennale, having won the medal for best pavilion from amongst 50 exhibitors from around the world.
The multidisciplinary team behind URNA explored death through art, inspired by Malta’s ancient burial sites. At Skorba, photographer Anne Immelé and architect Anthony Bonnici, reflect on how the project reimagines life and death, creating artefacts that connect the present to history and eternity.
