Maltese watercolourist Paul Caruana is showcasing ‘Wrinkles,’ a collection of 32 new paintings, at the Wignacourt Museum in Rabat until 29 October 2025.
The works accompany his forthcoming book of the same name, a personal biography reflecting on his childhood and upbringing in Valletta, Rabat, and Mdina. Using watercolour, his preferred medium, Caruana captures memories and emotions that he now describes as “fairytales” from his past. The exhibition blends nostalgia, humour, and reflection, offering viewers a glimpse into the artist’s formative years and the experiences that shaped him.
