‘100 Years of Photography in Malta (1839–1939)’ is a new publication by Charles Paul Azzopardi, a doctor by profession and a photographer by passion, who has since become a photography historian and author.

This work traces the development of photography in Malta from its earliest days up to the advent of the Second World War, bringing together 800 historical images and the first precise chronology of all photographers active during this period, many of whom have never been documented before.
