‘Iconic’ is a collaborative exhibition by Maltese-rooted British photographer Lorenzo Agius and Berlin-based artist Izzy Weissgerber.
The concept brings together Agius’s original portrait photography of major cultural figures with Weissgerber’s painted interpretations. Each piece in the series is crafted as mixed media on silk with acrylic and 24-karat gold. The subjects include Cate Blanchett, Jack Nicholson, Julia Roberts, Ewan McGregor, Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Madonna, Brad Pitt, Keith Richards, Pierce Brosnan, Jude Law, Penélope Cruz, Margot Robbie, Diana Ross, Sharon Stone, and Valentino.
