Taking place on 19 October at the Valletta Campus, Festalingwi celebrates Europe’s linguistic and cultural diversity as part of the European Day of Languages.
The programme includes music, theatre, readings, and language taster sessions, alongside contributions from embassies, university departments, and cultural organisations. Highlights include children’s activities, language workshops, and the closing concert ‘Ħoss il-Malti’ featuring Brikkuni and Cher Camilleri. The festival underscores the richness of Europe’s 200+ languages and the importance of protecting them.
