Grotto Girl is Louisa Chircop’s project at MUŻA, reimagining the museum’s historic well as a portal for stories and reflection.
Combining residency, community outreach, and exhibition, it explores identity and belonging through Maltese symbols and participatory clay workshops. Inspired by her own bicultural Maltese-Australian background, Chircop invites dialogue on cultural hybridity and the evolving Maltese identity.
