The Irkotta Fest in Ħal Kirkop will return after a two-year break, celebrating the traditional method of making ricotta.

The festival will feature various ricotta-based foods such as cannoli, pastizzi, and ravioli, along with a live demonstration of traditional ricotta-making techniques. The event will also include elements of folklore, including folk music, dancing, and għana, offering a full cultural experience. Additionally, there will be activities for children and artisan crafts like lace-making. The festival aims to promote traditional methods, support local farmers, and showcase Maltese craftsmanship. It’s an invitation for the public to experience and celebrate Ħal Kirkop’s rich cultural heritage.
