The Grand Master’s Palace in Valletta has opened nine restored halls to the public for the first time, many formerly part of the Grand Master’s summer apartment and used by Parliamentary committees until recently.
Following extensive restoration—including structural repairs, fresco and damask conservation, and installation of modern systems—some rooms have been returned to their Knights-period appearance, while others now interpret Malta’s history from the Knights to British rule and the establishment of Parliament.
