Opera is, by its very nature, something grand; a fusion of music, theatre, design and poetry that demands great preparation.
It has a strong place in Malta’s cultural life, created to be enjoyed by all. As planning continues for the years ahead, opera will take on an even more central role within the national cultural calendar, with the Valletta Baroque Festival set to open an important new chapter in January 2026.
