In an effort to demystify the Inquisition and dispel the fears surrounding the subject, Heritage Malta is hosting a series of public lectures by various historians at the Inquisitor’s Palace and the National Museum of Ethnography in Birgu.
In his public talk, Curtis Callus presented his research on how Malta, Sicily, and Sardinia reacted to the Protestant Reformation, exploring the nature of this reaction by examining the key individuals, institutions, and mechanisms involved.
